Who we are

Jolly Orthodontics is an orthodontic practice owned and operated by Dr. Priscilla Jolly, located at 1000 Highland Colony Pkwy, Suite 7201, Ridgeland, MS 39157. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Jolly Orthodontics. You can reach us at (601) 605-2400 or info@jollyortho.com.

Information you give us directly

You only share information with us when you choose to. That happens in a few places:

• Appointment request form. Our contact page hosts a form where you may provide your name, phone number, email address, and any details you choose to include about what you’re looking for. This form is provided by Jotform, a third-party form service.
• Chat window. The chat box in the corner of our site is operated by Chekkit. If you start a conversation, you may provide your name, mobile number, and whatever you type into the chat. Chekkit may follow up with you by text message.
• Phone, text, and email. If you call, text, or email us using the links on this site, we receive whatever you share in that message.

Please don’t send detailed medical information through the website. Website forms, chat, email, and text messages are convenient, but they aren’t secure channels. Share only what’s needed to schedule or ask a general question, and save clinical details for your appointment, a phone call, or the patient portal.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some technical information as you browse:

• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use our site — which pages get visited, how long people stay, roughly where visitors are located, and what type of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address. We use this to improve the site, not to identify you personally.
• Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces hosted by Google, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
• Google Maps. Our directions and contact pages embed a Google map. Google may set cookies through that embed.
• Server logs. Our web host records standard request data such as IP address, timestamp, and pages requested.

Cookies and how to control them

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Ours are used for analytics and for the embedded Google and Chekkit tools described above — we don’t use them to build advertising profiles.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it where our tools support it.

How we use your information

• To verify insurance benefits and discuss payment options when you ask us to

• To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell your information. We don’t rent, trade, or sell personal information to anyone, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number through the website or the chat window, you agree that we may text you about scheduling and your care. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts won’t affect your treatment.

Who we share information with

We share information only where it’s necessary to run the practice and the site:

• Service providers who operate parts of our site and practice on our behalf — our web host, Jotform (forms), Chekkit (chat and messaging), Google (analytics, fonts, maps), and Sesame Communications (patient portal). Each handles data under its own terms and, where health information is involved, under a business associate agreement.
• Insurance carriers, when you ask us to verify or submit benefits.
• Legal and regulatory authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety of a person.
• A successor practice, if the practice is ever sold or transferred, subject to the same protections described here.

Links to other sites

Our site links to places we don’t control — our patient portal (Sesame Communications), our social media pages, the American Association of Orthodontists, and neighboring businesses at The Renaissance at Colony Park. Once you follow one of those links, this policy no longer applies. We’d encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s privacy

We treat children with particular care. A large share of our patients are minors, but our website is designed for parents and guardians, and it isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through this site — appointment requests and chat conversations should be submitted by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information through the website, please contact us at info@jollyortho.com and we will delete it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information in our care, including encrypted connections on our website and access controls in our practice systems. That said, no method of transmitting data over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security — which is why we ask you not to send detailed health information through the website.

How long we keep information

We keep website inquiries only as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records. Patient and treatment records are kept for the period required by Mississippi law and applicable federal regulations, which is generally longer.

Your choices and rights

• Ask what information we have about you, and ask us to correct it if it’s wrong
• Ask us to delete website inquiry information, subject to records we’re required to keep
• Opt out of text messages or marketing email at any time
• Block cookies or opt out of analytics as described above

Rights to your health records specifically — including access, amendment, an accounting of disclosures, and restrictions on use — are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
